Windy's basketball discussion thread

Good rebounders and they take (and make) good shots. Not sure how they're 2-3 right now as this is all I've seen of them.

How did the basketVols look today? I didn’t get to watch but there was a lot of griping in the RF about it.

To be blunt, if they played a team with a pulse, they would have lost. Thankfully TN Tech is God awful (don't listen to the Barnes nut huggers in the basketball forum - TN Tech is awful)

Oh wow. Barnes’s teams have historically played this way to start the season and then put on more steam. I’m glad Fulky is back, maybe he can lead these freshmen. They all seem to be playing for themselves and not as a team effort. I’ve only been able to watch two games this season, but that’s been my thought so far.

Pretty much what Mojo said. Lazy day of playing thinking they could easily get by with Tech.

Memphis lost again. Actually coached a game against Penny 5 years ago. Penny was still at East High School and the Lester Middle School 6th grade team (feeder program into East) played against a group of 6th grade boys I was coaching in MLK weekend tourney. Penny was so ticked at the way Lester played in the 1st half that he came in from the stands to coach the 2nd half.
