In fact, in all seriousness, which is frowned upon in the Zone, if you really don’t know about Jamie Dixon’s coaching resume, maybe you shouldn’t post about college basketball. Im sorry, I’ve tried playing nice, but there is just too much total ignorance posted about college basketball all over VN.

4 different seasons at Pitt where some award called him national coach of the year.

Going to UCLA would be going where he grew up. He even was a child commercial actor

I’ve always assumed he wanted a new start. I think his sister’s (who coached the women’s team at West Point) death always bothered him

Dixon is ok but wouldnt take Cronin -- wasnt there rumors Bill Walton was pushing for Luke to get the job, when the Lakers fire him in a couple weeks ?

Cronin was successful at Murray St then rebuilt Cincy. And they’re a conference contender every year now.

I doubt Tony Bennett would leave. Why would he? UVa has become a premiere basketball program in the premiere basketball conference.

UCLA basketball is Tennessee football. Why come to such a dumpster fire with insane immediate expectations when you’re in literally a perfect situation?
