I was just kidding. I'm not a BB fan, Ive just been following because I was excited that we were doing good in something. I can see 95's point about not winning anything, at least the SEC tournament would have been something and soften the blow of last night.

That's not to say that I think the season was a bad one or that I'm disappointed with the entire body of work like some in the BB forum. I think this was a good team but flawed in that there was no top end talent that can take over the game (Grant is great but undersized). That Cline kid from Purdue dominated us and was a bad match up given our defensive weakness on the perimeter.

Cline was absolutely unconscious. He hit everything. There's nothing to gripe about the D on most of his shots. He just buried shot after shot.

The refs didn't do anything crazy. The late calls were good calls.

It is disappointing this team doesn't have any hardware (other than individual) to show for their accomplishments, but it was a good season. Can't say great season.

That plus it feels like the same Tennessee finish.

So last night I’m standing near the stage at a Zac Brown Band concert watching my phone for texts from H, VollG, and orangesunset because I had no internet.
Was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen yet I was there very disappointed.
Sadly I was giving updates to everyone around us. When we lost I told the people and about 30 of us let out a groan. It was between songs and the band noticed.
They were looking at us like “WTF!?!”

I didn’t say it was a bad call by the refs, it was a bad play by Turner. Hate singling him out cause he did a lot of good things during the game but you just can’t foul a jump shooter with less than five seconds left in the game and have a two point lead.

Man, I feel ya but I cant go there with you. I'm not a Vol fan because I believe mediocrity is the best UT can ever achieve. I believe, always, that greatness is just around the corner. I do wish we'd stop going around these darn corners though. I figure I've got 60 good years left, surely the odds are in UT's favor to win an NC at SOMETHING by then.

Yeah Squirely, I knew you weren't questioning the call, but there's been plenty of posters in the BB Forum bashing the call. You're exactly right. Gotta go straight up and hope for the best in that situation. I know Edwards was the shooter in that situation, but Cline had four fouls FOREVER. I can't grasp that they didn't attack his defense down the stretch in order to take him out of the game. And the kid was unconscious. He was hitting e'rything.

Turner is the best defender we have and buried threes all year long in crucial games to win. He had a lot of minutes against Edwards who dropped 42 last game. The man on man switch gets us out of place. Hell I think we finished the tournament with 50 percent 3 shooting against us. You can’t win that way. Bone had a bad defensive game but Cline or whoever never hit iron.
