The LVs have the talent to win the conference and go deep into the NCAAT. They underperformed. At season's end, players and Holly cited the need for a change in culture. Apparently, off-court issues have been negatively impacting the LV program.

Phil extended Holly's contract in August 2018, but after the conclusion of this past season and the open admission of culture issues, he had to relieve Holly of her duties as head coach. Will he find an administrative position for Holly? Will she be employed with the univeristy outside of athletics? Or, will she take her leave and seek fulfillment elsewhere?

Time will tell...

It's been a great season, and I'm very proud of our team. Two big wins against Kentucky, and knocked them from being sec champions. A good run being #1, and a sweet 16 appearance, gotta love it. Too bad it ends tonight, cause we're royally screwed. 😄
