I have 5% on every vehicle I've ever owned. It's dark. 15% is the best of both worlds. Although still illegal.

Same here, 5% on my vehicles. It is sometimes hard to see out of at night but worth it IMO. Looks good and you cannot be seen.

I'm fixing to get my front cab doors tinted. Back doors and rear window have factory tint. I don't know what % they are.

I've only heard of heartache going non-legal at least here. In NC they ck at inspection time. Make sure dude doing it has a light gun because you can't gaurantee from the film alone, also depends on the glass as I was told.

I had a honda civic back in HS. I had limo tint all the way around (except front of course). Worked nice for flamming up a doobie. You could literally put you face up to the glass and couldn't see shiz.

Here are the laws in TX for front side windows.

Side Windows to The Right and Left of The Driver
Sunscreening devices can be applied to the side windows to the right and left of the driver if the following conditions are met.

Sunscreening devices, when measured in combination with the original glass, have a light transmittance value of 25% or more.
Sunscreening devices, when measured in combination with the original glass, have a luminous reflectance value of 25% or less.

$60 for any tint job is a good price, but don't expect it be great quality. 99% of the time, you get what you pay for.

It's window tinting, not brain surgery. It's got a lifetime warranty for cracking or peeling, so I think I'm good even if it isn't great quality.

Well I guess that's a risk you take anywhere. The place that I'm gonna go to mainly does window replacements, dent repair and crack repairs.
