... the following to be true.

1) A lot of the Volnation faithful will be fans -- whether they publicly admit it or not -- of Tim Tebow.

2) Urban Meyer will have a lot of good things to say about Ainge and Berry as both will have outstanding games.

3) There will be a large contingent of Volnation posters dissastisfied with the performance of Fulmer and, if you lose, it will be his fault and, if you win, it will be because Florida is rebuilding.

4) The winner of the game will immediately begin hearing how it comes down to them and South Carolina.

5) The loser of the game will calculate the odds of the loser of UF-UT or USC-UGA as 83 % to overcome the loss and reach the SECCG.

6) One of us will have cause to whine endlessly about special teams play.

7) The Alabama Volnation posters will be back out in force, either taunting you relentlessly for losing, or minimizing your victory.

and,

8) There will be at least three threads discussing next year's game posted in the first 24 hours.

1) A lot of the Volnation faithful will be fans -- whether they publicly admit it or not -- of Tim Tebow. Dreaming

2) Urban Meyer will have a lot of good things to say about Ainge and Berry as both will have outstanding games. Maybe, if ne isn't crying

3) There will be a large contingent of Volnation posters dissastisfied with the performance of Fulmer and, if you lose, it will be his fault and, if you win, it will be because Florida is rebuilding. DUH!

4) The winner of the game will immediately begin hearing how it comes down to them and South Carolina. Yes

5) The loser of the game will calculate the odds of the loser of UF-UT or USC-UGA as 83 % to overcome the loss and reach the SECCG.

6) One of us will have cause to whine endlessly about special teams play. Prolly

7) The Alabama Volnation posters will be back out in force, either taunting you relentlessly for losing, or minimizing your victory. Who cares

8) There will be at least three threads discussing next year's game posted in the first 24 hours.

As much as I didn't like what D. Wuerffel did to us on the field, I respected (and still do) him as a person.
Can you say the same about Tebow?

My rough guess at his numbers:

22 of 34 for 260 yards, four TDs, 1 INT. 55 Rushing yards.

I do not see this whin he sits for almost 3/4 the game on the bench not hurt, its just that our runing game is taking so much time off the clock.

Here is the key thing about Tebow. Because of how he was used last season he never had to lead the team or overcome a bad game or bad series and respnd to adversity. He got all the praise while Leak did all the dirty work.

He hasn't gone through the growing pains every young qb goes through ie Stafford.

This season he starts with two JV teams and again has yet to face any adversity. to this point in his young career every bounce has gone his way. At some point it won't and then we will se what kind of qb he is.

I agree with most of what you said LG. However, I'll never be a fan of Timmy Tebow. There is a laundry list of reasons why

win or lose I predict that more than 30 percent of the UF fans in attendance listed license plate fabrication as a career skill on their last job application.

win or lose, I predict at least 300 liters of urine will go airborne at BHG stadium.

UF really does have a problem with its fans. Even the Bammers -- who loathe us worse than the Gators do -- don't behave like Gator fans do in and around the stadium. :jpshakehead:

What say you, LG?

Wuerffel is truly a nice guy, a real gentleman and a very devout and religious man. He was always serious about his future and his role in the world as a bit of an evangelist. His pro career was not something he really put a lot of stock or expectation into, IMO.

Tebow is young and cocky. Right now I am sure he is thinking that he has a great shot at a pro contract and he probably has the talent for it. Will the cosmic tumblers fall into place for that to happen? I don't know. I do think that he will mature, as we all do, but that right now he's an enthusiastic young kid who wants to play smash mouth football and the staff are probably having to reel him in quite a bit.

Tebow will average 5 butt patts to his Wrs per half and 1 crying session with Urby after the game.

I agree with the sentiment, though I would not be so quickly dismissive of his chances to respond favorably to adversity.

Or you could say Tebow is an arrogant loudmouth that held mommy and daddy's hand instead of going to high school, that has done nothing but look good against sub-par competition and has had everything handed to him on a silver platter.

He's never had to rally a team and carry them in college. He's never, not once, had something bad happen to him on a college football field and had to overcome it. We'll all see what kind of QB Tebow is this weekend

I really don't get any of this. The kid has done nothing but perform. Give me a break.

Any posters complaining after a win in the Swamp should be banned immediately.

With a 960 SAT I am surprised the Timmy can read the play book.

Non-quarterbacks would be lucky to get into UF with a 1300 SAT.

Good thing he was home schooled so he could get a high enough GPA to qualify.

Tebow has the potential. He still must prove himself and it will take more than the game this weekend. He has a lot of experiences comin' his way this season! Then, we'll see.
