Originally he was down my list a bit, but he and Brohm are my top two unless someone else comes out of left field.

I saw he was mentioned taking over for Jimbo Fisher if he leaves.

I would put him above Sumlin and Miles because if you can not keep your job there with as much talent in that area, I don't want retreads.

Why as he not been mentioned other than those that say because he's black?

The only way we get Willie Taggart is if we offer him what we supposedly offered Mike Gundy.

And that ain't happening. He's not coming here. If he doesn't go to FSU I bet he stays at Oregon.

If Purdue and NC State's coach won't come, Oregon's sure as hell isn't either.

Come on! The color of a man's skin has nothing to do with his ability to coach! Go get the best coach!!!

I never said the color of his skin mattered, only saying some think black coaches not getting opportunity here by those making decisions.
I have said all along we need to be offering 7 million plus. Time to play with big boys or go home!!!@

I wish everyone would start adding to their thread title that they are just basically throwing out ideas.

When I see threads with coaches names I think “Is there news?” then I click on the thread and it’s basically “Hey fellas, what do y’all think of this guy? I think he’d be a good fit.”

At this point it doesn’t matter what any of us think.

Sorry.... I’m bitter from this search.

You are 10000% correct. After Cuonzo Martin, though, I'm not sure that's an opinion widely held by every booster though.

Coming out of left field the 1998 NC QB Tee Martin

That is 100% correct.
That means it should not be a barrier to hiring a coach and it also should not be a requirement to hire a coach. It should only be about getting the best available coach.

If they start offering coordinators who have no head coaching experience and share play calling duties then I would expect them to consider Tee.

Just a thought....maybe because his overall coaching record is 47-50 according to his wiki?

Please enlighten me. Other than that statement, what are his qualifications over any other coordinator with no HC experience. I like Tee and do not care what his ethnicity is. Just no HC experience.

Looks like wind blowing in directly from the south this weekend.

Sorry, but I just don't believe he's coming to UT. If this were so, that would meant all these other flirtations including Schiano were false flags and setups. Since Schiano is going to take us to court, I think it's safe to think all the other near deals were legit as well. And why wait until Saturday? Why does it matter at this point?

I answered this in the thread bearing his name.
