Who called her a liar?This kind of thing happens. People take responsibility for the well being of others even when the other person has harmed them. If he was that obviously intoxicated it’s entirely plausible she was afraid for his safety, ie didn’t want him to get hit by a car, or just didn’t want him to wake up the neighbors.
It’s possible to hold off on tarring and feathering Mohan without immediately calling the young woman a liar. Some of y’all are far too eager to do the latter, though. Predictable.
If the story is as typed, then I'm far more worried about the hand on my throat than my neighbors getting awakened. If I am concerned enough for my safety to pull a knife then I probably want them to wake up.
Listen, I get your point, but the story is definitely strange despite all the possible scenarios we can make up.
