whether he take another coaching job, im not sure. but i imagine his credentials will garner some offers. hes a good guy, id definitely pull for him. id rather him stay here in some capacity, but who knows.

Howard Schnellenberger has 200x the credentials of Fulmer. He's coaching FAU right now.

I don't see Phil going anywhere with the same enthusiasm, hence I think he might be done. If he did go to another team, I'd say that I would support said team unless they are playing UT, in which case I'd have to deny their right to victory over UT. He didn't seem too keen on Hamilton's offer, I wish him the best... unless it's against UT.

Schnellenberger has a lower winning percentage, fewer wins, a winning record at only one school, only 5 bowl game appearances, one national championship and 9 losing seasons in 23 years as a head coach.

Fulmer has been a head coach for 7 fewer years, has more bowls, more wins and the same amount of national championships.

Yes, but he's had to rebuild most of the programs he's been at. Look at Miami. Before Schnellenberger, Miami had never won a confrence championship, let alone a national championship. At FAU, Schnellenberger built the program, quite litterally from scratch, and now has the best team in the Sun Belt.

So, to sum it all up, Schnellenberger deserves more credit than most give him.

I do not think that Fulmer will coach anywhere else..I don't think he has been offered anywhere else..I believe coach Fulmer would do well with what the University offers him..

I gathered from that press conference that Fulmer wasn't really interested in whatever Hamilton had offered with the athletic dept. He mentioned looking at other coaching opportunities a few times during the press conference this afternoon. I believe he'll go somewhere else to coach, so just wonder whether or not UT fans will still follow his career.
As long as he isn't at an SEC school, UNC, ND, or Miami...I really think I'll pay close attention, and root for his success.
How bout you??

I'm sure he is worried about what the f#ck you are going to pay attention to...

I would follow whatever he does and pull for him....unless his team was playing the Big Orange!!

I believe he's done. What you saw was a football coach with the belief he can still do it. I think a little time off will make him realize it's not worth it

If you don't think that there are literally dozens of big time college football programs who are salivating over the chance to bring in Fulmer's .750 win percentage and unmatched recruiting ability... well, grandma always said "if you can say anything nice, you shouldn't say anything at all," so...

who said he'd be worried about what I pay attention to?? I was just asking if people on this board would actively follow his career.
you have some anger issues, don't you?
