Will we sell out any games this year?

I thought at least we would sell out for the big games of Auburn, South Carolina and Georgia. But today I saw on utsports.com they have tickets available for each of these games throughout the stadium. What is the deal you think the economy or because of the bad season we had last year?

depending on how the upcoming games turn out I would say theres a great chance. this team is electric and the fans will follow suit. the hype is back and will transfer to attendance numbers esp if south carolina is a night game on halloween

Typically, the people that want tickets, already have tickets. What is still available is left over from season ticket sales. There are some that get bought during the season, but for the most part, those tickets will not be sold. So, to answer your question, it's a combination of a crappy season and the economy that hit season ticket sales.

Now, if the team has a good season, builds expectation for next year, and the economy improves as expected then season ticket requests will return the games will be sell outs.

Status of the team. Florida has one of the worst economies in the country, based on the housing crash, and all Gator games have been sold out for months. You can still get a ticket to any FSU game, though.

A certain percentage of fans were old-timers not fond of the changes. Has nothing to do with the economy, since most college football tickets at most locales are up both in sales and prices. AD needs to find new fans happy with the change to replace the old timers.

Not saying it will happen at all but if they beat Florida, I get the feeling tix are going to be hard to come by.

Those tickets are returned visitors tickets.

The games were sold out as of 3 days ago...

Don't know what's up with the UCLA game, there seem to be a lot more tickets available than I remember last time I looked.

Do you honestly think you would sell out if you had to seat 100,000 + every game?

I do not.

How many does your stadium hold anyway LG?

Gainesville won't have a housing crisis unless Firestone runs out of tires

Really, the San Diego chargers won't sell their games out this year, a team that may go to the Super Bowl. But, Detroit look like their games will be sold out, with a 30% unemployment rate, and one of the worst teams in football.

Well... it's Detroit, and the Lions ticket cost is probably the lowest in the NFL.

If Tennesse lowered ticket prices to $30, they'd sell out every game... it just wouldn't make sense to cut prices by 33% if they are only coming up a few thousand short.

This frustrates me that the games aren't sold out yet.
I can't stand the fans who are staying away bc of change. Pathetic. The economy is one thing, but if its a "message" by some who are still mad about Fulmer, then I wish the university would just ban them from the stadium when they get over themselves. But then, it will be nice to get rid of all the old boring Fulmer fans who just want to sit during the whole game.

It's not a message... as we count all sold tickets into attendance. It's just apathy, for whatever reason.

If we start winning, it will sort itself out.

I think we'll definately sell out some games once fans get a better feel of how good this team is. Can't say I'm disappointed that tickets were made available to some of the bigger games. I bought two on the front row at about the 40 yard line today for the Georgia game. Couldn't believe my eyes.

How much do you guys think tickets will be going for on the strip on gameday for the Ohio game if:

A-we beat Florida
B-we lose to Florida

That will be my first game in years and I am wondering if I should buy them at face value now or wait and try to get a deal on gameday. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
