Will we see the hurry up offense to start the UGA game? Looked to me like the team seemed to be more in sync with the hurry up offense instead of the slow mythodical drives. Did we just get lucky against a tired defense toward the end of the game? I am not talking about the last drive that was pretty much pointless. I am talking about the two drives before that.

Auburn went to a prevent defense cause they had a big lead....Florida and UCLA did not and it wasnt good at all....

Listen, I don't wanna go all 'spelling police' on you for that one, but considering the season our offense is having, your choice of words is hilarious!
But seriously, I hope so. That hurry up offense seems to have clicked. I don't think we can do it all the time, but it would be great to keep that one handy.

Looked to me like the two drives prior to the last drive that they were playing the recievers pretty tight. Maybe I was just wishfully thinking that we looked a little better.

Same here...looked to me like AU wasn't playing that soft, but they could've been.

What you dont think its a myth that our offense is terrible. ha ha. Its early and I was too lazy to use spell check.

It doesn't need to be a true hurry up. If we could get to the los and call the play without the huddle it would help keep the defense from subbing. AU only ran a few plays with lots of time on the clock. Usually after a big gainer

Do some of you people have OCD or what, that you cannot enjoy a sports page without correcting spelling... Talk about something that is hilarious

The only thing a hurry up offense will do is hasten the demise of our over-worked defense.

That's actually how you spell hilarious. And I wasn't correcting his spelling, he used mythodical when he meant methodical..but given our offensive play, it seemed like a play on words using 'myth' instead. And yes I have OCD. It just struck me as funny. And the OP thought it was funny, so maybe you should chill out a bit. It was all in good fun.

With our Defense being beat up, and a diminished 2-deep, we are better off with game plans like we had against Florida. Eat up clock by riding your horses in the backfield.

The reason the Hurry-Up worked so well against Auburn was they went into their form of the Mustang.

I believe we need to try establishing the run before we try anything else. The less Crompton throws, the more our defense rest and the better our chances are of squeezing out a win.

Pretty sure we weren't successful because the offense was playing well, it was because Auburn started playing the Chief's Prevent D.

No hurry up. Need to run clock, keep the ball away from Cox, Green and Co., and give our D as much rest as possible.

This UT team has enough running game skill that it only needs a serviceable passing game to be sucessful. The UT O may be close to getting the passing game to servicable based on the end of the AUB game. If so, it will force D to be honest and not put so many D players in the box. Thus, the running game will be more sucessful and the UT D will stay off the field longer. Funny how it all goes together.
