Will we run the table now?

Guys, this was by far the best team we will face this year and we damn near beat them. Crompton has another tune up game in Ohio and then if we keep improving each game Bama and Ole Miss should be our only real concerns. I actually think we are plenty good enough to go undefeated from here on out. I can't wait to stomp UGA in Knoxville.

We just lost to a very overrated team by 10 points even after they had two crucial turnovers. We also lost at home to a PAC 10 team that went 4-8 last season.

We're in the SEC West and still have to face Arkansas, LSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss.

And, you think we're going to run the table.

Bizarre.

i'm sorry but after reading all of your posts on how you guys "almost or should have" won i had to reply. you people can not actually believe this, if not for a Tebow fumble on the 5 yard line we go up 30-6 and the game is over. i was in the stadium and nobody in the stands thought you guys had a legitimate shot at coming back. you can't honestly believe you could have or should have won this game when it should have been put away 30-6

I was on my couch, and if not for a Crompton interception on your end of the field, we had a legitimate shot in this game. Not to mention a missed open receiver in the end zone.

The grass is always greener.....

When there's bull$hit on it :)

We are an average QB away from a bowl game. I just don't see it with Cromp or Stephens at QB.

Well we should have scored touchdowns when we were in the redzone. Then we would have won. See i can play this game too.

You are resorting to "would have, should have, could have"? Really? You can leave now.

You must be an Auburn fan since you are in the SEC West.

The lack of any offensive diversity due to Crompton's lack of any ability whatsoever will lead to losses to Georgia, Auburn, Ole Miss, Alabama and South Carolina. Those teams can handle a one-dimensional team in a close game.

Crompton will improve under Kiffin. He had no coaching for 3 years. On the job training is difficult in the SEC. With this defense we'll be in every game. One more loss. Go Orange!!!

UGA is not that good this year.
Neither are we. UGA, USC and AUB are not very good. The problem is that we will play everyone close due to lack of offense. Crompton's mistakes give all of those teams improved odds in any close game with us. After next year's OL and QB troubles, I am really looking forward to a great future. We are playing handicapped right now. This team will be interesting with talent and the new attitude being instilled.

To answer the TC's question.....no. Our defense is good enough to run the table, but our offense, mainly our passing game, isn't nearly good enough for that to happen.

A bowl game has been and still is the goal.

The matchups across the front against Alabama is worse for us than today's. We have little shot in Tuscaloosa. That's the only game we should be a decided underdog in from here on out.

Agree, our defense matches up better against speed than strength. Bama will run straight ahead on us and it will be hard to stop them by the 4th, we just don't have enough size on the interior. That being said... with a good secondary and ample run blitzes who knows... but logic would dictate we'll lose that game.

Best case scenario 9-3
More likely 8-4
7-5 not out of the question

Injuries will play a big part... if we stay healthy on the o-line, 8-4 is still realistic. The big wild card though is our offense... we're not going to win many games scoring in the teens... even with our great defense.

We won't lose a game if we score 30.
