Will we pass or run more today?

Run, you are probably right with the 75/25 split. Might even be heavier towards run.

Yep.....at least a 65/35 pass-run split. Probably closer to 75/25 like you said when the 4th quarter turns into John Kelly time.

My guess is vanilla runs until they decide to try and get a little crazy and run some more. Rain in the forecast would say even more running.

I'd say 75% run oriented offense today. What say you?

Agree. I think like most first games we'll see a lot of "vanilla." Dobbs will make some short throws, but by and large I think today will primarily offer the o-line an opportunity to get some work.

If all goes well, maybe QD will get a lot of time in the second half. Any passing game we might have will probably be saved for BaB. Good TV coverage then---nice way to advertise the need to continue to build up a roster of talented receivers.

I just hope we see Dobbs with under 5 designed carries, I don't wanna see him running draws all game long risking injury. Give the ball to 6 and 1 and lets get out of there healthy.

I hope its closer to 50/50. This would be a great opportunity to see if we have a down field passing game. Not to mention build some confidence and give teams something to have to think about.

I'm going 60/40 run to pass. Gotta see if we can throw on a smaller school before we get the bigger teams.

Will show a few wrinkles to give VT something to worry about. Smash mouth football. 20 or 25 passes. GBO!!

I wanna see the Mac truck package on the goal line w/McKenzie running as lead blocker for number 1 in the power I

We will do a lot of both. I hope a lot of the running is after catching a prefect pass. This would create a lot of headaches for the defenses in our future games.

Run until we build the lead and then work on the throw game! Showcase the throw game to all of those that were in doubt about our throw game.

I will be more interested to see how fast we run the offense tonight. Will we get 90 offensive plays in tonight?

Probably not.
I don't look for Debord to do anything out of the ordinary.
I think the D will set the tone early though.

We will run more I think, but I bet DeBord wants to get our passing game clicking as soon as possible. I hope we take a few shots deep to Pwilly / others. I want to see how well we've developed in the passing game.
