Will we hear anything monday?

So Dooley got beat. Who in the know thinks we will see a conference on Monday? Is Dooley done? Was Gruden really on a plane taking notes of the UT game? I need something to feel good about.

I am on my knees praying we do. After the low attendance at the Troy game they will not be able to afford not to change coaches.

I don't see Dooley getting fired at all. I see him lasting through next season. Especially if he can keep Bray, Patterson and Hunter. I'm not being sarcastic either. We can still win the rest of the season and get a bowl win. 8-5. An improvement. The D is letting is down more than anything else. Dooley will stay.

this. The home games will have an embarrassing turn out. Will be too much pressure to get rid of him regardless of all the "improvement" some think we have been seeing

well, we won't win out. If we do, we won't win the bowl game. Bray, Patterson and Hunter won't come back...

so then what?

Yes, he will be driven to the Virginia state line and banished to UVA. Cheney will be interim until Troy upsets us, he will be banished back to state of Indiana. Sunseri will be named interim but a pre-game double chili cheeseburger will drop him b4 MIZZOU. Graham will finish the season with back to back losses to Vandy & UK., whereupon he will be dropped from Letterman's club. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

He won't get fired until the end of the year, if he does get fired. Sunseri should be fired, if anyone.

I really think the lack of Tennessee to recruit the top tier players is really hurting his chances at Tennessee..Tennessee will have to get a big name coach in here to be able to get those players here. If you are recruiting against Nick Saban and Les Miles, you have to have someone who is respected and a big name. Gruden is a no brainer, they need to pull out all the stops to get him to Tennessee...whatever it takes... Tennessee better do it, Because if not? Tennessee will never regain the chance to compete for a SEC Championship or a National Championship. Dooley is a pretty good coach, but you got to better than we are to play in the SEC and play for an SEC Championship..period. :rtfm:

A 3-5 SEC mark is a joke for a program that spends money on football facilities like we do. The D is letting down due to coaching. They are not coached up - plain and simple. Who cares about 8-5? Whoop de f**kin doo. He needs to be canned today. And if you think we're keeping Hunter, you are smoking some major crack.

It is a money game more than anything. Tennessee will continue to lose money if he remains the coach. So I say yes he is gone, however, they have to get the right person to fill the seats. We are in the same shape that Bama was in when they had Shula, fans are not happy and more than anything.... they were losing MONEY. He was not the guy for Bama and Dooley is not the guy for the Vols. Also, we have a common denominator between the similar situations in Hart. Changes are coming. Hopefully he makes the right hire and not a gut reaction in Smart.
