If you want to get a good UT experience stop going to Florida games.

Someone posted a link here on Volnation where you could order an orange or white t-shirt. I ordered on Monday prior to THE game and got my shirts in 2 days. Also, the store inside the stadium was selling those same shirts on game day.

Can I just say...even tho we lost, this was one of my all-time favorite experiences at Neyland. To watch the checkering evolve, the electrifying atmosphere, guitar solo by Andy Wood and Sterl the Pearl, 3rd down for what and sharing the experience with my buddy Capt. Morgan...I'm still smiling.

The Oklahoma game gets my vote for a repeat of the checkering.

Well on the flip side what kind of party would it have been if they had ended the streak? A school like Tennessee should never lose 10 straight to anyone....especially when Will Muschamp was the coach for 4 of them.

Some smart entrepreneur should create a double sided shirt with one side white and one side orange.
You just flip it around, according to your section.

Yes, its on the twitter page too. If the game has been chosen, why not announce it? I can't see a reason to hold out?

I despise the wave. People that care about whatever sport they are watching don't have time for silly things like the wave. My suggestion instead of this would be called STANDING and everybody would stand and scream for the Vols for the entire game.

11 days later and the site still says the same thing. I can't imagine why they wouldn't announce it unless it somehow violates some random NCAA rule.

I agree with checkering Neyland for the Oklahoma game.

Was thinking, folks were talking about doing something for other games. I think it would be cool to do something for the last home game...senior night. Create a memorable moment for those guys. JMO

No, waiting on the University to announce it like they said they would instead of hanging our plans on someone longing to look like they "broke the story."

Truthfully the University didn't announce anything last year. It was a fan initiative. Obviously it looks like that won't be the case this year, but if the fans want to Checker Neyland for OK that's where it will get checkered.

Speaking of which on the "Checker Neyland" Facebook page it looks like they are trying to start another initiative of "shaker Neyland" for UGA. Basically give the whole stadium pom poms. Not a bad idea IMO.

Yeah, I recall the University being "hands off" with the idea last year until they learned that the fan created website was getting a lot of traffic. Now, they know what over 100,000 true Vol fans can pull off, so they're all in. Honestly, I think they will declare the Oklahoma game for CheckerNeland even though Hyams jumped the gun.

I like the idea of shaker Neyland for UGA. Me and the family are all in for that one if it becomes an idea that gains momentum.

I get to take my son to the OU game ... Super Excited ... can't wait!

I'm bumping this thread hoping someone has heard something definite about whether or not we are going to checker Neyland? When should we know for sure?

Yeah thats what i was thinking. Seems like if it was gonna be at the ou game, it would need to be official pretty soon so it doesn't end up being a flop.
