Will Vols score more than 14 points against uGa ?

I think we may hit 20 points max. I'm not a genius, mind you. Still, I'd gamble a few offbeat playcalls.
1. Uptempo the uptempo. That is, snap the ball as soon as it as the center touches it. Even if your OL is still standing. The defense likely will be too. Shovel to a RB or the QB just take off.
2. Run the old Packer sweep 2-3 times per quarter,
3. Drop into the wishbone 1 or 2 times, and throw mid-field to a streaking WR.
4, Have the QB trotting off, seemingly headed for the sideline, hike to the RB who takes off.

Basically, create a WTF situation where the Ga defense becomes hesitant from seeing plays atypical of the Vols and momentarily blunting their aggressiveness, unsure of what to do. Just long enough to spring a play on them. Even insanity has a use if you're crazy enough to employ it.

Though this be madness, yet there is method in it.

Their pass rush is next level. They make even Bama look silly. I still think we put over 30 on them.

We have 5 wins. UGA is the only team in 2021 that has DESTROYED every team they have played. 56 points scored on UGA this season. My wish is we don't have anyone seriously hurt. The point spread is currently 20. The over/under is 55. Vegas expects us to score 17 points. That is roughly 1/3 of points against UGA for the season to date. Highest one game total (twice) is 13. IMHO, that is some high praise for the Hype from the bookmakers. If the pros think we'll get 17, that's a legit chance. GO BIG ORANGE!!!

Y’all need to expect, and not melt down over, the fact that we may very well get shut out.

They are monsters at the line of scrimmage, they will stuff our run game WAY worse than Ole Miss did. Their secondary is fast and will shut down our receivers. Their LB’s are even fast.

We have a lot to be excited about, and our time to put them in check will come, but it ain’t gonna be this year. They are playing at a different level than the rest of the football world this year.

Their defense sets their somewhat pedestrian offense up.
The constant pressure forces teams into horrible decisions.
Keeping our heads may not get us a win against their far deeper and experienced talent, but hopefully will get us closer.
Don't give their offense a short field.
Win special teams- somehow.
Extended weather forecast shows temps in 50s. Luckily not a night game in that regard.
Maybe the Vols will give a few Big10 teams some false hope

NO ONE has…………..
I will say that just like UF has our number, every now and then, we give UGA heartburn. High chance they blitz us...but they’ve been killing everyone, and no one expects us to win...so we’ve got nothing to lose...get blown out and we are in the same boat as others...may as well pull out all the stops and see what happens. Think this is why UGA probably views us as a dangerous game. It by miracle things start going our way, Neyland will make it unbearable for them.

Another thing.
We need to be happy with 3-4 yard gains. Just avoid the negative plays and stay in rythm.

This is Georgia's last SEC game - I hate how the SEC is so comfortable with teams done with conference play by early or mid November.

They won't be overlooking Tennessee for Charleston Southern.
Their off week was 3 weeks ago and with 2 blowout wins and extreme depth, weariness will not be a problem.

We need this game to be a track meet and stay a track meet even if it gets out of hand

Yes, we will score more than 14. Our speedy WR's will break some big plays. Only problem is that their tight ends will catch plenty of passes on our defense and out score us.

I haven't seen that Washington TE who we recruited a few seasons ago. Did he join a circus or is he still at Georgia?

Unfortunately Bama this year is not the Bama comparison of old. Georgia would embarrass Bama. The Bama offensive line would cave in to that Georgia front 7. Bryce Young would have no chance to extend plays. I would expect something of 35-14 if played today. No Metchie or Williams would get to second level a couple times to score deep. But Robinson isn't going anywhere on that Georgia front 7.

So as for us we can score 14-17 but likely we get hammered and game is out of reach early. Where as when we llayed Bama we just ran out of gas and wilted.
You're overlooking the only thing that matters.

Georgia can't win when it matters and Alabama almost always does.

Maybe. If we do it will likely be 17 or 20 if everything goes perfect for us. If we score 20, that will be a huge moral victory for us.

At what point previously has UGA had a better team than Alabama? Alabama beat them twice before simply because Alabama was the only team in the nation who could bring an All-American quarterback off the bench. I think this will be the first time UGA actually has a better team.

He's still there. Was injured and now is back (unless he got hurt again). Saw him make a few plays, he is a tough match up.

all depends on who paid the sec refs the most,.
Oh if the refs have something to say and they will, Georgia will get most of the calls. Honestly this game depend on whether our Oline can give Hooker time. It’s a tough matchup.

I see this game playing out a lot like Alabama did. It will be fairly competitive for 2.5-3 quarters but their depth and superior talent will allow them to pull away in the 4th and win by 21-24.

They’ll hover around 17-21 against UGA. Though I think probably 10 of that comes late after the game is out of hand. I’ve got it 48-17 UGA.

Yes. Georgia is slow and dumb. This is the game when "put on more steam" comes into play. They will literally beat the crap out of you for three quarters. You have to take them the full 60 minutes. ALL THE WAY. No matter the score. No reason you can't get 3-4 scores in if you can do that, but you have to DO that. You have to pressure them the whole damn game. Not part of the game, and not most of the game... the whole damn game. This game often comes down to a final play.

Hopefully after the Ole Miss game the refs will think twice about screwing us on our own field.

We'll score more on them than anyone this season but I just can't see us stopping them...I'm thinking UGA 42-UT 21.
