I truly believe Trump is a horrendously despicable human.
Beyond that point, everything is in good fun......but that's such a significant point that everything else pales in comparison. IMO

Honestly the way I view Trump is that he can be petty and narcissistic and pays attention to things that don’t matter like tweets and such

I do like his “outsider rhetoric” and view because he actually calls the media, liberal groups, DC politicians etc for their hypocrisy and they HATE him for it. I feel like there is appropriate middle ground for that kind of discussion where as most politicians would be too afraid to say what they actually think

He is correct on some issues and wrong on others but the media especially overplays their biased hands so much every single time and gets played by him a lot and most of the time they don’t even realize it.

His main problem is he doesn’t stay focused on things that matter and leaves too much of his executive decisions and plans in the hands of others under him

The investment in a physical barrier is mice nuts relative to the federal budget and it reduces the recurring costs associated with enforcement. Efficient and effective at funneling illegal crossings to more easily managed choke points. Plus it should save many lives lost by those traversing expansive, mostly hostile territories.

I think you may have made that point once a long time ago.

I thought BHO and Carter were really good men. Lousy presidents. I still think they are really good men. Bush Sr. and Reagan are good men. Moderately lousy presidents Little less for Bush Jr. Clinton, LBJ, JFK were not good men. Presidential legacy is mixed.

I care less about the quality of the man sitting in the WH and more about the results. 20 years ago, it was just the opposite.

I have never in my life found a government idea which made things more efficient or effective. I am happy you find the wall to be the anomaly. I do not.

Again, the master salesman did an abysmal sales job.
Trump was much less concerned with building the wall than with dividing people over the wall.

I think both are important and have to be weighed against one another.
Trump is the exception because he is so lacking in one, the other can never compensate.

Despite Trump’s motivations, he is 100% correct that illegal Immigration is a serious money drain and criminal issue for the US that needs a solution

C'mon... the solution is easy, but no one in Washington really wants to fix the issue.

Both sides use it as a wedge.

And that's where I lose the ability to judge trolling from an emotional, irrational post.

Trump is not a good man. He is not a good president on the whole. The most important issue to me isn't being helped by him. But it hasn't been helped significantly by any president. And that's what I care about. I don't care if a transgender, racist, pot head is president as long as the country improves for everyone.

I don't agree with the never ending attacks that come from the lies that "fake news" outlets push. Stick with valid criticism instead of putting any trivial comment Trump utters into a fabricated context and I'll listen. He never went bankrupt, he doesn't spend all of his time golfing, he isn't throwing children into cages, and Russian hookers didn't piss on him.

It just sucks wanting something 97% of voters dgaf about. The JO/CO ticket is the only one even close to my political wants and they don't have a chance in hell.

Honestly as with most issues, it needs to be comprehensive and non-partisan. (I know right)

The physical wall is not a bad idea, but absolutely having harsh penalties for those who employ illegals or use fake tax and Social security numbers for them. Help those that are non-criminals, non-mentally ill, etc and really do want to make a better life and assimilate into American society have a quicker legal option to do so. Absolutely require cities to cooperate with ICE to deport criminals

This would help the issue by 100% but we have to get the “ICE is racist, etc” rhetoric out as much as Trump’s rhetoric

And the media did similar things to Reagan, Bush and would’ve done it to Romney or any Republican President. This is one reason we got Trump to begin with. You can only hear Bush, McCain, Romney is racist, sexist, Nazi etc so many times that when you later have the same people saying no but Trump REALLY is we like those other guys now. It comes off as BS

Two things:
1. Your list of choices was to limited. It's not trolling, emotional, or irrational.
2. It's impossible for a racist president to be elected and supported and the country improve for everyone.
