Will they drop in polls with this bad outing?

Nicholls State has won 9 games in the past 5 years in FCS.

App State was 11-2 last year in FBS.




The difference between these two teams is huge. Unfortunately, a lot of people saw our game and thought App State was FCS. And, most people just group most non-P5 schools in the same "cupcake" category whether they're a good team or crap.

Doubt Georgia drops as far as we did.

Georgias 24/7 forum is hysterical over there. Pure complete meltdown threads and saying when Richt left they thought the chitty playing had left also.

They definitely should fall, as much as we did, after that embarrassing game! But, I'm sure they won't. Let's just hope Booger McFarland is right on his UT to the SECCG prediction. Go Vols & can't wait til kickoff!!!

Cause most fans think when they get rid of their coach (who was actually doing ok), the next guy will give them '95 Nebraska like seasons 10 years in a row; effective immediately.

I'm overexaggerating a bit, but yeah....

Nicholls State is a quality team unlike those pansies at App St. Georgia might go up a few spots in the polls.

Tennessee dropped eight spots in the polls after barely beating unranked Appalacian State. Georgia barely wins by two over Nicholls. Clemson barely beat Troy. Will the polls be fair across-the-board or will Tennessee be punished more than the others?

Thoughts?

Probably, but I think if we continue to pour it in VT and win big, we will recover as they slip.

No chance these teams will drop like Tennessee did, despite playing much weaker teams than App State. Coaches and voters hate us.

UGA has a huge journalism school. In short, no, journalist will not punish them like they did UT even though they should.

Also FWIW this should have stayed in TN football forum. The reason we are sour about this is because the Vols plummeted so far, not just another "NCAA" team.
