Support and generated income are not related to physical market size. Of course, this year is not as relevant due to both teams coming off Finals appearances. But other than Mark Cuban support, the team has been at a loss financially year in and year out and the Heat's owner Arison is one of the tightest wads around and ever since their Championship they haven't had hardly any revenue incoming until recently.

Edit: Sorry for the slow reply by the way. Been busy.

God knows I want to be with the Blazers, but Allen has officially lost it. He was, hands down, the biggest hard liner in the CBA, went beyond screwing the pooch with the unceremonious dumping of Kevin Pritchard then Rich Cho less than a year later, and above all, letting the Vulcans run the Blazers for him as a business rather than a sports team. It's obvious to me they don't want to win.

I bailed on the team and started rooting for the Mavericks during the Jail Blazers era.

Not gonna front run and say I was on board with the Championship last year, I just want to root for a team where I know the ownership is actually interested in winning.

Can I interest you in the Thunder?

No. I'm still pissed the Sonics were hijacked out of Seattle. I hope the Thunder lose every game for eternity and the franchise dies.

No chance at a repeat without Chandler.
I would be front-running if I said I cared. And I agree, there isn't. He was a defensive force. It remains to be see where he ends up because teams are still digesting the new CBA to see what they can and can't do. Cuban said last week that he hoped to be under the salary cap next off-season when there are some big FA names on the market.

I think if it comes down to it, he'll pay him, but I'm not sure how it would affect the luxury tax situation, which everybody is trying to avoid now.
