The Chiefs are giving Mahomes the key for their game sunday. Usually NFL teams who clinch will rest their QBs and main contributors.

Well, the Steelers clinched and apparently they resting Big Ben.... for Landry Jones.

If Landry plays the whole game and Dobbs doesn't go in, I hate to say it but I think Dobbs will be on a new team next year or maybe not even in the NFL. :(

He’s a rookie third stringer. This throwaway game means nothing to his status.

Isnt Bray still on the Chiefs ? If he is and Mahomes is starting I would say thats it for Brays NFL career

You never know, Tyler Bray has been with the chiefs for 5 years and never taken a snap in a regular season game.

I thought at beginning of season he was named 2nd string, so if now third he is not doing well. I agree though, they will not cut 4th round pick after a season though.

They aren’t getting rid of him. The plan was to let him learn and groom him. That’s exactly what they’re doing. Anyone who knows football knows that Dobbs clearly outplayed Jones in the preseason. It’s all part of their plan.

No, Dobbs was always the #3 for this year. Played more in the preseason because both were hurt.

Andy Reid is one of a few NFL coaches that keeps 3 QB's on the roster. Bray may stay with the team but he'll take a pay cut,IMO.

Nah, it's like a preseason game but your opponent is playing all their starters.

Cleveland is playing to get their first W.

This game will be good to evaluate more on Dobbs.

Doesn't matter because there will be a huge drop off at Q B position once Ben retires. He will definitely be in the Hall of Shame. Those type of players are not easily replaced
Landry Jones is a joke. Two years ago Ben was hurt and Jones started the game against San Diego. We played horribly and Mike Vick had to replace Jones in the 4th so we could win the game. Jones is a joke.
Best case scenerio is Ben plays another year and after two years on roster he becomes the starter

Dobbs will be lucky to ever take a meaningful snap in the NFL.

He was a good college QB, but lacks the throwing skills for the NFL.

He’ll be second string. Prolly plays. Means nothing either way since Pittsburgh won’t be playing THEIR starters all game.

Because of the rape allegations?

You don't just cut a 4th round draft pick after 1 season.

4th rd picks are generally projects who aren’t expected to contribute early. That’s certainly the case with Josh. I don’t think the Steelers will cut Dobbs after this season, but saying a team would part with 4th round pick after a season isn’t a big deal and not outside the realm of possibilities. 1st or 2nd round yes, 4th round no.

Titans need a number 2 QB that can play like Mariota without getting hurt lol

Mariota has been a turnover machine and just generally bad all season....I’m sure there are tons of number 2 QBs that can “play like” Mariota.
