I am hoping it will be. I know the game is not ESPN worthy since we are playing a not-so good team, but I was thinking maybe it would be on WUXP (MyTV 30). They showed the opener against WKU on that station back in 09'.

Uhhh, I live about 150 miles from Knoxville. I can't go to every game. Sometimes I just like chilling at home and watching the game on my HDTV. I do plan on going to the LSU game this year with my Uncle. Ready to get sweet revenge! Neyland is gonna be crazy that game!

I could only watch about 30 seconds of that.

150 miles isn't far to travel if you have family in the area to stay with. I'd do it. That's just me though. If I still live in Murfreesboro with the season tickets that I have now, I'd make the weekend trip.

That's an easy one day trip.

I live outside Dallas and will fly in for the LSU game.

Gonna drine to the Arkansas game too.

Cannot wait.
Used to drive in from Memphis for all home games.

Wish I lived 150 miles away...

I would hope so, even if your local station picks it up. I cant recall the last time a regular season Grizzly game was not on television in the state, even when we play nobody Division 2 schools. No local blackouts either because each game is a sell out. I know a lot of people that will be sorely disappointed if it is not. FYI, Montana has been on ESPN/ESPN2 6-7 times in the last 12 years.

edit: Montana fans drive 700+ miles from the east side of the state every weekend for home football games. I agree 150 miles, is almost like next door. I estimate we will have 2K from 2600 miles away.

Actually didnt occur to me about the Ark game, but I am heavily considering the LSU game.

HD tv's r killing our attendance..I understand if u just can't go, but if ur a real fan and have the choice of going or watching it on tv....nothin beats the Neyland experience..

I could see ESPN2 picking it up as a night broadcast, especially since they have already agreed to telecast the Cincinnati game in the mid-afternoon slot. I would prefer almost any scenario to a SEC network broadcast since that, presumably, would entail a 12:30 ET kickoff. As we all know, day games in the South, during early September, are not the most pleasant experience for anyone, fans or players.

Funny how things work. I will be on a mission trip to Montana the week of the game. I only live 100 miles from Knoxville but will be 1800 miles away when the game is played. After we win by 40 I will try not to be to hard on them.

Twenty thousand Tennessee fans live secretly on other planets and come to all the games...most from 2600 light years away.

lol.....better put them on the runways too, because I know there are a number of flights coming in. Typically charters originate out of 3-4 cities in Montana, not just Missoula.

I can understand that, but 150 miles isn't a very long distance to drive.

I'll be going to the Louisiana State game, as well. It should be a great time. :hi:

So you'll have as many here as a sold out home game? Sweet.
