Will the band be there tomorrow?

It will be my first O&W game....just wondering if the band will be there to form the T for the guys to run through and play Rocky Top every chance they get?

I'm guessing they will be, but want to make sure...

The band was there last year, but I do not know or think that they will form the T.

They usually just stay in the stands where they are for normal games.

The band is always there but they always set in the stands. Those interested in being drum major in the fall take turns directing the band through out the game while they are in the stands. They are being evaluated by the directors as this is part of their drum major auditions.

One of the big moments of my life was auditioning (back when anyone could because TPTB already had their pick) at an O&W game and getting to signal, count off, and direct Rocky Top. There is nothing like standing on the ladder in front of one of the best college bands anywhere having your face blasted in by Rocky Top. It's even better than playing it. That was many, many moons ago.
