He's back on TV in Knoxville this morning continuing the theme from yesterday about using the 12:30 start time as an excuse for Tennessee.

How did he spin a 12:30 kickoff time as an excuse? I missed that from yesterday as I did not listen to the radio any.

sounds like those who blamed the rain in 02 for the Gator loss, 'cause it made the vols unable to tackle (but somehow did not effect the Gators).

He claimed that Alabama may have been more use to playing at 12:30 (11:30 a.m. Bama time BTW) than Tennessee because it was one of the earliest games we've played all year or some crap like that. He used the same excuse yesterday on the radio.

Wow, because I guesss UT has never played a game at 11:30 central time. That is pretty pathetic.

We also haven't played a game in the state of Alabama this year, so that probably didn't help either. It's not fair that we weren't used the different surroundings, climate and being closer to the equator.

why is it that overstreet has to be a douche? i hate feeling that way about a former vol, but seriously. he acts like the vol fans shouldn't have an opinion about the program and to to basically ignore anything that we say. he needs to take off the orange glasses and realize what's really going on. pathetic.

He must be trying to get a JoB with the AD at UT. Big salary as schedule coordinator for football operations pays 60000 a year.

Oooo... I forgot about this. One of the callers just called in and pointed out that Heffney was taunting and grabbing his crotch at one point in the game.

The last person that needs to be doing any of that...

He did do it. JPW had thrown an incompletion in the endzone and Heffney and I believe Hall were going back and forth. The announcers even pointed out that Heffney and Hall have a history.

But yes, he did grab his crotch.

He also said that we are playing freshmen and sophs in the DB and that is what happens. So was BAMA. Their Frosh DB had 2 picks on Ainge.

Hefney did grab his crotch, but I honestly believe he was just adjusting.

From what I saw, it wasn't what it could possibly be made out to be.

I didn't realize getting hit in the back of the helmet while running around spasmodically counted as a pass break up. You can always count on Flubbs to pump the white guys. He hasn't been the same since Jam threatened to break his neck in '99.

The fact he was jawing at a guy who has torched our secondary his entire career tells you all you need to know about Hefney. Loser.
