If we have the same guy as last week counting the fans then a full stadium would be around 140,000. No way there were over 98,000 there against TN Tech.

They count tickets sold....

I was there and estimated 90K in attendance, but never heard the final number. I was pleased with the turnout after the disappointment which shall not be named relating to the region below North Carolina.

There were more people there than I anticipated, but it was nearly dead silent, even when TT had the ball. Of course, it was designated "Bring All Your Children to Neyland Day."

Those are popular games for people to take their kids to (cupcake games) because tickets are super cheap and the crowd is very docile.

I've been to many a November game in Neyland and it's pretty much a fact that Vols fans take the month of November off. It isn't even close to how the crowds are the first two months when we play stiff competition (I mean that we play teams that should be tough to beat as opposed to teams we should never ever lose to). Throw on top of this that we already have 3 losses and have fallen short of most fans expectations and I bet there will be a lot of tickets on sale in the secondary market. Many people I know around Nashville choose these games to take their kids to because they know the crowd will be less raucous.

I wouldn't think so. Sometimes we get caught up in the quality of opponent. If it's some inferior team, like Ky, we just aren't that into it, we got nothing to win( so what if we beat Ky) and everything to lose(we got no business to lose to Ky). To see the Cols finally play a complete game, in ready for some more. Just to watch them play is worth the price of a ticket.

Now is the time to get amped up for Atlanta. Our best game was a loss to A&M, until Ttech, we cut out our 7 turnovers.

Bring on Bama(yes I'm over looking Ky)!

Not a chance that 98000 were actually at the game. The university may have sold that many tickets, but after 3 straight losses and playing a cupcake I bet the crowd didn't top 90000 at all.
