Will Notre Dame end up in the SEC?

The SEC does not allow Notre Dame to accomplish its “Mission Statement” or goals based on geography. The B1G or ACC allows them to do that with both conferences being on both major coasts. The SEC only occupies the Atlantic Ocean and The Gulf of America .
So, what you’re saying is ND doesn’t want anything to do with that SEC smoke. 💨 Amarite?

I really thought the ACC was going to be awesome when they pulled in those Big East teams (Miami, VA Tech and even BC was ok back then), but they’ve just never taken off.
I did too. In 2005, when you saw that list of teams of FSU, Miami, VT, GT, NC State had just had Phillip Rivers, UNC had some pretty good pros and Clemson was about to get better, you would think that the top 6 of the league was really good, but they have massively underperformed. Miami hasn’t won an ACC title in 21 years .

If you’d have told me back when Miami joined that we would get through 2025 without Miami winning the conference, I’d have probably bet any amount you wanted that you’d be wrong. Who would’ve possibly thought that?

Then again, when we went b2b in 97 and 98, who would’ve thought we wouldn’t win another one for at least 28 years? Going even crazier, in 2007, who would’ve thought we wouldn’t even play for another one in at least 18 years? We went in 97, 98, 01, 04 and 07. Unreal. Now I’m depressed. Thanks RDU. This is all your fault!

Will never happen.

No real incentive for either side really.

ND would require so many concessions that the other members would end up peeved

Screw em. They made their own bed.

Let them throw all their toys out of the pram if they so choose . The world will move on without them. While it's kind of sad to watch-I must admit it is amusing
Call it sad, call it funny, but it's better than even money....
