It doesn't really matter how a coach performs, as long as his AD is behind him, we should know this as well as anyone. Muschamp as taken SC to 3 Bowls out of his four years as HC, He'll need to get his SH** together next season, but I don't look to see him gone, or a decision to let him go until then.

With a $14 million buy out for Muschamp, he is going to be the SC coach for a while.
Over eight million Tennessee dollars didn't scare us! He's had 3 bowl seasons, and then there is this year-a crap season (or as we now say, a Boy Butch season), if next season he can have a 6-6 or better, go to a bowl, he'll be just fine. Remember, as of right now, SC is ranked #82 in the nation, we've been in that area this year too. As of right now we're #55-not a lot to say WOOOOWEEEE about.

Sort of crazy to think he also got the biggest win of his entire career this year (vs Georgia). They are 3-7 without that upset.

Ultimately Muschamp's problem this year is the exact same problem he had at Florida: he has no offense. Which is crazy when you consider how great those WRs are; I don't think I've ever seen a coach that does so well on defense, but consistently underperforms on offense to the extent that Muschamp has. Muschamp's offensive performance stats at Florida are some of the worst I've seen and it's inexplicable.

Id say if he gets fired its more likely he goes to Georgia and is their DC then to Bama under Saban.
