I wouldn't read too much into that game as far as defense goes. It was a rivalry game that had #1 on the line and Texas won. I would be more than thrilled with Chavis if he gave up that many points on our way to being ranked #1. If you look at his defenses from winning an NC at LSU to the defense he ran at Auburn and the defense at Texas now, he is getting it done. He knows Georgia (played there), Alabama (coached with Saban), Auburn (coached there), and LSU (coached there). He would be perfect at Tennessee and I prefer a defensive guy when going to the swamp rather than someone trying to run a track meet against Urban Meyer on offense.
I cant really say too much as I dont follow texas. That game looked much like a track meet though. He would have to hire a great DC if he came here. Chavis would give up far too many points in a game like that.
