I get cold chills thinking about #4 in our secondary, I think Williams was bracketed second team at that position.
and, Williams was supposed to start ahead of Beasley who played well vs BSU.

On the radio, they said that the coaches were just being careful with a lingering injury Mitchell has had. Keeping him out against bsu was just precautionary

I would expect Beasley and Mitchell to split reps and keep Mitchell on a snap count. Banks will be out there a lot more and Page will back him up, more like an 80/20 split IMO.

You would think if the coaches saw anyone doing better than Burrell every day in practices all camp, they would have them playing ahead of him. The scary part is they probably didn’t.

I am beginning to wonder if Burrell is a practice-type Tarzan but a game-time Jane.
It would be nice to see Turnage or another DB get some reps at that position during the game to see if they fare any better.

If the receiver has good speed, Burrell can’t cover. He always trying to play catch-up.

I’m sorry Hadden fans but on his INT he was beat but the ball was terribly under thrown.
