Will Lebron toss the powder?

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the crackhead at the barber shop in Cleveland have his pretend conversation with LeBron on Sportscenter.

LeBron is nothing but a "look at me" type player. Hope he never wins a championship, simply because he paid to go on National TV to announce he was leaving Cleveland.

Honestly, I think any fanbase in the same situation would feel equally jilted. The fact that Cleveland is to sucking as Boston, Pittsburgh and New York are to championships only magnifies it.

Imagine if Peyton was a hometown product, went through his time at UT, got drafted by the Titans if they existed and could have, played until a couple years ago and bolted for Baltimore or New England or whatever so he could win a title and made a spectacle of it on national TV. Wanna bet folks across the state wouldn't show up in drunk, angry droves if he came back to play a game?

Too me it is just a made for TV drama event put on by ESPN.

That network invents story lines.

That's like when a tornado touches down anywhere. The first person they find is Joe Bob to hear his story on the freight train smashing his trailer.

I think it's funny that people are calling out Cleveland fans for being whiny. I tend to agree, but let's not pretend like other fans would rise above this. We behaved similarly with Kiffin, so anyone acting like this behavior is specific to Cleveland is ignoring reality.

Exactly. And if anyone was gonna pull it off, it may have been him.

I hope he tosses the chalk. I hope he's mean-muggin. I hope he's taking no prisoners. I hope he shushes the crowd after his 50th point. Dominate, son.

I'm not even a gigantic Lebron fan, but the dude can do what he wants. People are hating just to hate.

Yeah, I would've rather seen a small press conference of "See you in Miami. I'm sorry Cleveland." or whatever, but that would've been hyped up just the same, only not an hour long.

Lebron is lucky to drop 30 these days

I'm very intrigued to see whta type of mentality he has tonight, will he go out and try to kill them or will he defer to Wade/Bosh for the night and just get outta there?

Apart from the obvious slurp fest you have goin on, there's only one problem. He can't win the tip by himself. It's called a "tip" cause you kinda have to "tip" it to someone else. It's not called the opening "catch."

And for people saying he was by himself in Cleveland..haha.

Thank god you're here. I always wondered why they had to throw it in to someone else, too.. I dribbled it in bounds back in the day. Now I know why my coach yelled at me so much.

Slurp away on Mo Williams, I guess. Dude was so hurt he admitted to almost retiring because The King left. But yeah, it is completely LeBron that causes his name to be put on a pedestal. It's the 3rd-person references to himself on the decision. Nothing or nobody else.

And VolNBama, he's sharing the spotlight in an out of rhythm, somewhat lost offense and still going for 24 a night. Considering the numbers, I guess anyone is a bit lucky to get 30...?
