Exactly.

Everyone wants it so bad, and so they are willing to believe anything. They even base it entirely off one guy saying he will ban himself if he doesn't come & a guy that talked to some in-laws in church saying Gruden is coming. They seek out bull**** information to validate what they want to happen.

Now I hope like hell he comes to Knoxville. But, I am not going to just sit there and justify it without anything further. He may have been contacted, and may have even shown some interest, but it's pretty far-fetched to think any deal is already done at this point.

I come on this website and say stupid **** everyday, and everyone knows that and expects it. But for some reason when other people make up stuff and post it most of the people believe it. I admit I'm a bull ****ter.

This is how L. Ron Hubbard sold people on Scientology. Just found a few patsies that will believe anything.

I'd agree with you 100%, but I've got a couple of friends that generally know stuff telling me the exact same story I'm hearing here. It may all be groupthink from a starved fanbase, but there's no doubt that somebody somewhere is talking.

I'd wager no amount of money or place no amount of faith on this happening. IMO, believing so fervently that Gruden will be hired is as foolish as believing Dooley can still succeed. Both are pretty far-fetched. Just my opinion.

Would rejoice if I'm wrong. I've been wrong before and will be again.
