Exactly; and I will be the First to carry that banner. We are talking Incompetence; propped up guy (sound familiar?) kept on while others very qualified were purged from the system. It IS a "look at us, how caring we are" phenomenon . Typical Disney.

ESPN is going to use Lee Corso like Weekend at Bernie's till they can't

Yeah a few/ a lot times he's lost his train of thought and someone jumps in to cover. He is loved by most the watchers and mostly ppl just watching it for fun. They bring absolutely nothing. Everything they talk about as already been discussed ad nauseam. Their biggest draw is its leading up to a game. The picks mean nothing except for some jabs back and forth all just for fun , laughs and viewership.
Now if the ratings on the Fox pregame start challenging it would change. They are a bit more serious pre game discussions IMO.

I see Palmer as more of a replacement for Pollack than Corso. They can keep him on the cheap too, because he’s also on the Rooms To Go payroll.

The reason Tennessee was taken out of the Gameday intro was the copyright owners of Rocky Top told them to stop using the song.
