6'1 and 6'2 is what they were listed at. ty detmer who won the heisman bout 20 years ago was only 6'0 and then doug flutie the list goes on and on, all those guys could get outside the pocket well though.

Watched some clips of Heaps. He definitely isn't 6-2. He looks more along the lines of 6'0. He moves around the pocket quite well, though, which makes height less of a concern (see Steve Young). I still like Scroggins better, but I wouldn't complain about Heaps.

You can tell from some of his videos that he isn't 6'2 and probably only 6'0? Uh huh.

When it comes to height, i have only 2 words " Doug Flutie " If he can play he can play. I will take Jake Heaps all day long.

Aaron Murray who signed with UGA in Feb. is only about 6ft tall. He looked really good in their spring game and wouldn't suprise me if he was 2nd string this year.

Height not commit to us this week, but I have a good feeling that he will commit to us. IMO

Regarding yesterday's Heaps rumor of silently committing to Tennessee. I've spoken w/ a couple of Tennessee people and a west coast guy; while the UT people are pretty confident w/ where they are at w/ Heaps at this juncture, they have not heard of a commitment. One of my guys on the west coast is telling me BYU, Washington, and UT all have a shot, but in his words "No way" did Heaps already commit. If I were a Vols fan I'd want Jesse Scroggins more anyway.
