I am sure this has been addressed in other threads, but, does anyone care to shed any light on the HUGE difference in rankings between Scout and Rivals on this kid?
I know Scout is generally frowned upon when talking about football recruiting, but come on there is a very big difference.
I am saying yes.
I was very impressed with Coach Kiffin and his entire coaching staff. I keep in touch with their coaching staff a lot. Their offense is very quarterback friendly. I was truly impressed with the sincerity of their entire staff. Coach Kiffin really cares about you as a person and not just a football player.
I truly believe in this coaching staff, they are going to accomplish great things in Knoxville.
The quality of people in Tennessee was amazing. It's a great family environment. I loved the facilities there and their stadium is unbelievable.
They [Tennessee] are recruiting me as hard as anyone, they definitely made a lasting impression on me on my visit and how they are recruiting me.
I'm hearing you guys have the lead and that the UW interest is basically throwing a bone to the home team.
former cal player (of course he also told me carroll was a cal lock, but generally his info is very good).
he ranked it:
1) UT
2) cal
3) BYU
The lucky five to make the final cut for Heaps include BYU, Cal, LSU, Tennessee and Washington. The feeling among most has always been the hometown Huskies and the Cougars, the church school for Heaps, are the teams to beat.
"I know a lot of people think that way but honestly, everyone has the same chance right now," Heaps said. "I feel really good about all five of these schools and I think I would fit in well at each of them.
"We talked about it, but we were there to have fun, not there to commit. We wanted to sleep on it. I haven't really talked to them about it, but we'll probably talk about it this week," explained Scroggins. "I really don't know when I want to make a decision, but we'll probably make a decision at the same time, since we all want to go to the same school."
"U-Dub definitely moved up the list," said Scroggins. "They're showing the highest interest, and coach Sark has been real with me. I love the way he makes me feel. They're at the top of the list."
I'd say its UT and UW at the top, BYU and Cal a little behind. At this point if LSU really does anything it would be a huge suprise, even the LSU fans think they have no shot.
Heaps will commit this week. Put it on the board. No Shenanigans.
New information has come to light, to where I feel confident in proclaiming it a truth.
Fred White was on 1180 around 1pm talking about reading on the message boards that Heaps had committed to UT. I didn't really take it seriously at all, but did anyone else hear that?
I heard that too, that he had committed, on the local Atlanta radio.
Seems weird to not be true and be around on all these places.
What gives?
These 2 posts were just posted on VQ:
At the 7 on 7 in Las Vegas where Heaps competed, Scroggins team won the event and Scroggins was MVP. Heaps stock went down some.
