Good recall ! Fwiw i do think Green should be punished in some way. A resolution criticizing him for lack of decorum, supported by all members, is fine with me.
Well, you're halfway right.
Apparently they decided it was choir practice time and the Speaker had to take a break to restore order.
Your party will keep losing votes every day...
You are nowhere near fair and balanced. My former party.
And I agree, they are out of touch and losing even more ground every day. See eg my nixing my membership. I think there are a lot of people like me out there that already have, or are considering, making a change.
For the sake of conversation let's take him at his word. If a "bleeding heart commie" is showing disdain for what passes as the modern/current D party just how bad must they be humping the poodle? That's bad, bad mojo. If the R's can come out of the Trump era with even a modicum of a functioning party the D's are going to need a paradigm shift to have a prayer. You are nowhere near fair and balanced.
Nah. You are still a bleeding heart commie
We need a „penalty box“. Force the censured representative to sit in the box all alone for every session for a month without being able to vote. Maybe have them wear a dunce cap.Good recall ! We decided to do a LOT of things differently than the British, for GOOD ReasonThe first overt example i recall was Wilson and "You lie'!" Feels like in each successive SOTU the opposition tries to one up that.
If we have to keep SOTU, why not then have "President's Questions?" Trump is questioned by the opposition and party loyals. He responds. Members can react with boos and what not, and a designated neutral chair bangs a gavel and everyone shuts up and we move on to the next question.

Good point, but I have no doubt the Republicans are going to **** it up when Trump leaves. They will go back to business as usual. For the sake of conversation let's take him at his word. Trump would stand there until they stopped asking. Remember what kid sniffer boi did?The first overt example i recall was Wilson and "You lie'!" Feels like in each successive SOTU the opposition tries to one up that.
