  1. Transfers out of Florida
  2. Gets off Roids
  3. Gets a haircut
What a difference new scenery, going cold turkey, and a good haircut can do for a young man.

They won't win sh*& this year anyways. Prolly lose 3.

No way an ex-steroid user from hillbillyville gets the f'ing Heisman. Will hurt the billies more later when they realize that.

He is a legitimate Heisman Candidate throwing to 3 WRs who are on the Biletnikoff award watch list. I thought the score would be WVU by at least 25.

You're right, winning 9 games and going to a bowl means absolutely nothing to WVU!!! If only the Vols could dream of such success. Honestly, what is the problem with Grier other than the fact that he has now embarrassed the UT defense twice. It isn't about "the roids", because he served his suspension. You just don't like him because he beat the Vols while at Florida, was recruited to transfer to WVU, and beat the Vols again. I guess JJ deserves a 2nd chance, but other players that beat UT do not.

LMAO looks like someone else needs to go cold turkey. Where was the dislike for Grier in my statement. Try reading it again when you sober up.

Nathan Peterman:

1: transferred from Tennessee

2: weaker conference

3: better coaching

I apologize...it appears your dislike is for either people from West Virginia, or maybe Morgantown (or as you call it hillbillyville). What did they ever do to earn your ire? I also don't understand how losing 3 games, assuming your prediction is even remotely accurate would considered not winning sh*&, as you put it.

Recent, I truly do apologize, I just realized that the post I was originally responding to was not your OP. I was responding to VolKilmer's reply to your OP, but the QUOTE did not get included in my reply.

My question is should a player that improved his game with drugs be allowed to compete with those that followed the rules

He's not on drugs. He took a banned substance that was not on the NCAA banned substance list, but he did so without getting it preapproved by the Florida training staff. It allowed him to put some additional weight on, but it did not make him a better passer, or better able to read defenses, etc. Whatever advantage he gained during those six games at Florida has nothing to do with what he is doing now at WVU. He served his suspension...PERIOD!!!

if it doesn't make him a better player why would he take it

Point missed...I'm not disputing that the substance he took 3 years ago helped him to bulk up and add weight. My point is that it didn't make him a better QB, any benefit gained back then is not benefitting him now, and he served his suspension for the past violation so, YES, he has every right to play with all the other players today that follow the rules because, as far as anyone knows, he is following the rules!!!

Its entirely probable they could run the table, they have Oklahoma at home, mark your calendar for that one cause it will be a shootout. On the other hand I wouldn't count out Iowa St
who jumped up and shocked OU last year. Regardless, Grier is the real deal, he looks like a Top 3 pick to me right now.
