Will Fulmer get booed at halftime of the O & W game?

I don't think we need to build a statue of Phil anytime should, but I NEVER think he should be booed again. The man always and will always love the VOLS!!!

I will be very disappointed if I hear that people are booing...The man gave years of his life to the program. Yeah, he had some tough years near the end, but overall he was a class act, and always represented himself, the team and the university well.

Reggie Jackson once said "They don't boo nobodies." Thus, I can't see why anyone would care enough to boo a washed up has been whose best days were a decade ago. I'll do the same thing I did when he was coming out on the field for his final game last year, go get a hot dog.

I don't know about boos, but I am interested to see how his meeting with Mike Hamilton goes, if Phil even bothers to meet him.

If anyone with me does, I'll throw a haymaker.
Further proving the emotional maturity of the Fulmerites. Hopefully, that'll go as well for you as it did for the idiot who started berating the folks in my section to stand and cheer when Fulmer was carried off the field after the UK game.

Whether you think good or bad (or somewhere in between) of Fulmer . . . lets show some class. We rightfully do not worry about every little reaction from outside our fanbase, but think about the field day ESPN and others will have from their perpective. And too, so you boo Fulmer, then what?? feel better about yourself...it would be childish and accomplish ZERO. Lets go Orange Swarm and do our part to make the most high energy, exciting O&W game ever!!

He's supposed to accept an award at halftime given to him by the Knoxville Quarterback Club or something.

How loud will the boobirds get?

Surely, Volfans have more class than to boo a man who was such an important of our teams history. He gave his best for our Vols for many years both on and off the field. Only an ignorant, classless bufoon would think he deserved anything less than respectful treatment.

If I were to boo, it would be for the simple fact that he can't keep his ego from getting in the way of what could be a great legacy. His comments leave a bad taste in my mouth, as does he supposed love for the university of tennessee, which is negated by his acceptance of bogus jobs and on campus offices.

The man did great things, he's also done and said things that taint his legacy. There lies the rub with most fans.

I'm not a Fulmerite. The exact opposite, actually. I'm bringing some people with me that I don't expect to boo, but if they did......Fulmer has done to much for the football program to boo him.

Thus proving my theory that people that dislike Fulmer enjoy nasty food.
Compared to the Fulmerites who lapped up the crap the fired football coach put on the field the last five years of his tenure?

You all will notice me, I'll be booing as loud as possible and throwing mini pumpkins from the upper deck.

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although it is probably unlikely, I hope you grow out of your prepubescenct mentality and behavior before you make an complete a## out of yourself in front of thousands of real adults.

But in reality, this is probably not your first time to demonstrate your real character and class.:crazy::crazy:

Fulmer is more of a Vol than any of us, you included Hat.
Yeah, he was coaching for free. His loyalty is overwhelming. Your opinion is noted and, as with all of those held by the Fulmer loving, orange overall wearing lemmings, disregarded.
