While we’re waiting. Flip over to CBS and see what an OL is supposed to look like. Physically. Look at their bodies, no homo
Yep Cade Mays looked like a real O lineman on that scoring drive!

Thanks Bev, and your freak show for giving our coach 0% chance to sign him and others like him

BECAUSE THEY ARE GOOD PLAYERS. They’ve got Cade Mays at LT right now. A true freshman and he’s bigger than anyone on our OL and probably stronger than anyone we’ve got other than Smith.

Hmmm, so our OL is filled with 2* players?

this is an idiotic thread..... and make it obvious that you've never even worn a jockstrap

Lol. Why do you think that not playing a sport means you cannot know anything about it? It doesnt take an expert or former player to see how badly coached these players are.

It's crazy how switching out an entire coaching staff is what it takes to reveal the true talent they inherited. Can't wait til Pruitts recruits cycle in. Who's got the fire on either side of the line to get this team in it!

Big problem is by the time Pruitt gets his guys, the rest of the SEC will just continue to separate themselves from us.

is stealing money from UT right now. The o-line is getting dominated by ETSU's front 7. Pathetic.
Can we expect these type of dramatic hot takes from you each and every week? You're 2 for 2 so far.

Spoiler alert: We are going to suck this year, especially in the trenches. Butch left a mess on both lines. Get used to it and stop acting like this staff stole your lunch money each week. Maybe Tennessee football just isn't for you.

I'm not going to say the sky is falling yet, but right now, we look like a DII school trying to play in the SEC. Maybe second half will change things and the team starts pushing them around.

Two coaching staffs with same players and same result. I can’t say if it’s coaching but those are facts.

You cannot convince me that a true P5 oline coach, can't put together an oline that stops ETSU's defense, using the personnel on hand.

A true P5 Oline coach. Wasn't Friend at Georgia as that before taking the OC job for Bobo. Didn't he have lines at Georgia who did very well against us at that time. It's a simple process. These guys, excluding the freshmen were recruited and developed, if you can call it that, as finesse blockers. Most just don't have the mentality to match the current style of offense. Those that do lack experience, all those recruits people are salivating over are the posse on the way to help rectify the problem. If you can't grasp that concept, start hugging that elephant you keep drooling over.

The blocking we ran with the bodies we have is not the same...look at Bama/UGA’s OL....like the OLs under Fulmer...that is the body types 315-340lbs is what we need to be successful with this style of offense.

56, 57, and 58 seem physically under-developed. With the loss of Kennedy, UT has maybe 2 or 3 guys who physically look like SEC OL. Rushing for less than 5 yard per carry against ETSU, and allowing frequent pressure on the QB does not bode well for SEC play. Just my opinion.

He needs more than a few months to get the guys adjusted to the new scheme, just like CJP needs time to install a new mentality with thia team. They'll get it together. They blocked better in the 2nd half. Hopefully by UF they'll be running on all cylinders.

In what fresh Hell would Pittman ever consider that and why?
The same one where if we just throw money at them, Saban, Peterson or Gruden (too soon?) are going to come here to coach us back to the promised land.
