Will Curt Maggitt get a Medical Red Shirt?

HIs injury is horrible because any of the players who are draft eligible will not want to return for their senior season and risk an injury like the one that happened to Maggitt. I am thinking that Cam is gone after this season.
Why risk an injury by playing your senior season, and risk your draft stock falling when you can be drafted high as a junior??????

That's not correct

He has had a medical so he can have another if he chooses to do so assuming he doesn't play another more this year

I hope Curt gets a medical RS. He has had just about every single injury a player can get.

Some connected posters seem to think he is planning to move on and test the NFL. I can't remember if it was LWSVOL or DP

Cam is getting beat consistently and playing soft.

Two years ago he redshirted because he wasn't fully recovered from the previous year's season ending injury...that's a redshirt for medical reasons. Meets the standard. So he's eligible for an additional medical redshirt. We're Tennessee so no guarantees he receives it...or wants it.

As long as the NCAA makes the decision you can bet Tennessee will get the decision they don't want.

I think he will test the waters of the NFL. Maybe a team will give him a shot. Dude is a beast but just can't seem to stay healthy.

IMO Maggitt loves Tennessee and wants to help bring us back. He's been our heart and soul for 4+ years now. If given the chance to be that dominant duo of him and Barnett, and possibly contending for the SEC Championship. I think he'd take it in a second... Go Vols.

Maggitt is one of those players that any team would be more than happy to have on the roster. He's always represented our program with class. I really felt for him when he got hurt again this season. Hopefully the NCAA will give him another year if he decides he wants to come back.

I'm baffled by Cam. Is he playing soft? Saving himself for the NFL? Or did he just have some luck his freshman and sophomore years and he isn't as good as advertised? Or is he just having a bad season? I'm glad I'm not a recruiter or scout.

He isn't a first round pick, he might go in the late second doesn't have the size that the NFL IS LOOKING FOR, if you look at him he is thin, don't get me wrong i am pulling for him hope he is a top 10 pick and make's million's of dollar's, seem like the NFL is looking for the big tall shut down corner's these day's maybe someone will pull the trigger on him and draft him in the first round.:clapping:
