Will CLK be reprimanded for comments?

made multiple references to 9-1 penalty count.
pointed out 2 blatant blocks in the back, on bammer that weren't called
called the chop block a horrible call
mentioned the penalty vs us when they jumped.
you could hear in his voice the tension when said how ironic the headphones came back on right as bammer went on D.
and of course the mention of the helmet removal and shouldve been a penalty.

what say you?

If wishes and nuts and etc, we'd all have a very merry xmas.
Y'all slimed thru to stay close cause of our ineptness. Give us the week off to re-generate next yr and see how it rolls out.

Next week y'all got USC and we get to rest. Get a dose of the cocks defense after ours!!!

Monterio still won't get a 100 and I take the gamecocks by 8!!!

Give us the interference in the enzone against J and y'all got nuting to gripe about.

Looks to me like another 11-0 run like the past...:dance2:

It's surprising that a Bammer could be up this late. You're supposed to be tired right now.

Did you guys have anything to show for that 11-0 regular season last year? You ended up with the same amount of hardware UT did... nothing.

I said this on another thread.....CLK shouldn't have said anything to the press about the bad calls and the headphones thing....He should have given props to the opposing team and coaching staff...He should have complimented the thousands of Tennessee Volunteer fans that made the trip and brought out the fact that he was very proud of the fight and no quit attitude of his team and staff....He could say all that other stuff in private, maybe even write a letter complaining to Slive and the director of officials...I know it wouldn't have done anything but at least he wouldn't slip to the level of Meyer and Saban...

I personally think we as a fanbase are kind of hypocritical when we rant about Meyer and Saban performing their acts and then praising CLK when he is doing basically the same thing....

I know it's refreshing to see a coach actually stand up and fight back and have his players back but there are more subtle ways of doing things that would probably be more effective...

Just my two cents...
I disagree.

the refs are not going to make a call thats going to cost the sec a undefeated alabama vs. florida. its not going to happen. if refs would have made the right calls ark and ut would have major upsets and the sec would be hurting to get into the national tittle.

You have got to be kidding. Dominated? WTH? espn needs to look at the stats----Idiots--:banghead2:

I saw the Sun. morning SportsCenter they said the game was played in Knoxville! No need to let the facts get in the way of a good story!

At around the 15 second point in this video the ref CLEARLY points to the ball while looking at a Bama player. If Slive fines Kiffin he should have to explain why he lets this slide first.

YouTube - Alabama vs Tennessee '09 blocked field goal

Wow, that's the first time I've seen the replay, you're absolutely correct. The referee clearly points at the ball and immediately looks at the two Bama players as if he was saying, "do you see it". The other thing I notice was that Cody has his helmet off while the play is going on. Question, was that 3rd down?

I really don't think CLK gives a crap about getting reprimanded..... and I wouldn't either. Even Mullen in Miss St. is harping about the officiating, so it's not like it's just CLK. CLK tells it like it is and nobody likes it. He isn't gonna take crap from anyone and that is the main thing I like about him.

I am sure he will be fined, so will the MS state coach for his comments. I think it is getting pretty rediculous that almost every close UF and Bamma game has had some really bad officiating. Calls that have no justification, late calls and no calls.

Is there a conspiracy? I doubt it but the officials are doing everything they can to make it look like one.

Since when does 2 points equal domination?

I'll try to excuse your ignorance, Bammers just can't help it.

After the onside recovery, I loved the look on the Bama fans and players. It did not look like that of domination. It looked allot like, "OMG, Oh ****, We're gona lose, etc".
It was wondeful.:eek:lol::eek:lol:

Bama got all the calls and breaks and was lucky to win at home against UT, even though bama had twice the talent--now, their fans are claiming that was a "dominating win." :post-4-1090547912:

Will ESPN be reprimanded for its comments?

"Tennessee forced Heisman candidate Mark Ingram to lose a fumble for the first time in his college career, scored a touchdown, recovered the onside kick and nearly escaped with a game that Alabama had dominated."

ESPN is just mad the game was on CBS and Reece Davis is a bama homer

I hate to use lines from movies when making a statement, but I think this time I'll make an exception. Rocky 2, when Apollo says "I won, but I didn't beat him.", that is what Bama knows deep down and will refuse to admit it.

Honestly the calls were terrible but that seems to be par for the course in the SEC this year with the two media darlings (Lundquist nearly orgasms any time he gets to say "Alabama," "Florida," or the far-more-frequent-than-necessary "Tebow."

If we got to retry that kick 10 times, I'm not sure we hit it even once. Lincoln, hurt or not, kicked terribly.

However I am quite amused by the balls of Bama fans coming and talking trash about barely beating a three-loss team at home and needing the lopsided officiating to do so. See you in Neyland next year, bring your mouths with you.

We lost, Im over it! Penalties aside, our special teams are aweful!! Thats why we lost , not the refs. Kiffin needs to quit crying about anything other than our special teams!! And by the way, I am fully behind this staff and this team and I have never been more excited about our future. GO VOLS!!!

all this complaining and crying is an attempt to cover up just how bad our special teams are. Kiffin , and fellow vol fans, please quit whinning about it

CLK made numerous references to the calls made in the bama game----said the chop block was a horrible call, referred to the 9-1 penalties called against UT---and said that Cody should have been flagged for unsportsmanship for the removal of his helmet. Stated that we should have gotten 15 yards and a re-kick.

The SEC will not be happy with those comments--however true they were---and I expect Kiffin to be fined and scolded. At least Kiffin has the kahonas to tell it like he sees it. You go boy!

Interesting. If Urban Meyer complains about the officiating then he is Urban Cryer, but if CLK does it, he has "kahonas".

Suck it up Lane. The better team won.
