It appears so far this year (atleast in the UF game when it mattered) that we stopped running the ball not due to it not working, because it was, but because Chaney just went into deep bomb mode.

After the UF game, he even made mention of this.

So my questions are simple.

Will we see him focus more on the run game against GA?

And will his play calling style change any?

Did Dooley wind up calling the plays for Akron? And if so, is he handing it back to Chaney for UGA?

I'm pretty sure in one of Dooley's interviews he specifically referred to the Cordarelle end around as a "bad call by him." I'm not sure who is calling plays.

I think we will see Chaney try to focus on the run, but there's a chance that he will lose patience and go to the air (as he tends to do).

They've got to find a different formation to run that play out of. Anytime you see Cord in the slot in that formation it's either the sweep or the fake to the dive.

Didn't we hit Rivera on a fake with it for a nice gain? I'd like to see that again.

We need to mix up the play calling big time this w/e and not be predictable or Jarvis Jones will absolutely destroy Bray.

Our go to play will be the unprecedented quadruple reverse. It will take so long to develop, that the entire UGA defense will be in our backfield. Then, all we have to do is break 11 tackles, and cruise to paydirt.

Look for an up-tempo offense to start the game in order to slow down UGA's pass rush and limit the variety of looks from Grantham.

Correct. He did.

I think Chaney called the calls for Akron and will continue to do so...I don't see Derek trying to take on that task. He does hear the call on the headset and perhaps was referring to the fact that he could have called a timeout prior to the reverse play and then changed the call.

Ainge says to not run the Pistol formation since the D knows that Tyler will never run the ball. I bet we still see it some.

When has the Pistol ever been a formation that threatens a run from the QB? It's just a way to get the RB into a tailback position without unbalancing the formation. You hardly ever see read option from it like you do regular Shotgun.
