This guy was one of our best recruiters and one of the best position coaches on our staff. How does this effect this year's class?

Probably not as much as folks are going to assume.

Will mostly hurt with the Patterson recruitment.

No wonder CJC was out to see him.

Is skeeters word not gospel anymore?

skeeter said he never felt CP was a lock to be a Vol, before CB left. CJC was out to see CP this week...hopefully the visit went well. CP's been here 4x and on an OV. Forgive me if I don't think he'll go to UGA ( a place he's yet to visit). My guess is that if CP was going to be a Vol before CB left he'll be a Vol when it's all said and done. We'll see...

Charlie is a really good guy. His stay at UT was always understood to be a relatively short one. Dooley has his replacement in place.

Boom.

Like I said if CP was going to be a Vol before CB left, he'll likely still be a Vol. But if you guys want to freak out and lose sleep, go ahead...

Yep. It's pretty obvious.

At least we will finally see which one of the recruitniks is actually an "insider."

I am sorry but one hit or miss doesn't determine if they are a 'insider' or not. They all miss sometimes. Judge their collective post.

Considering one says we likely won't get him, and one says he's a 100% Vol Lock, it will be pretty telling.

Hoping OCI is right :crossfingers:

I don't pay for volquest or anything like that, but the story on Baggett does let me read long enough to throw out that this is being termed a "retirement". Maybe somebody can read further and elaborate.

I don't think most coaches who retire are compensated on their way out. I may be wrong.
