Will arizona state jump the Vols in rankings?

thought about this as well.....ultimately, our best win is still better than their best, and their losses are much worse. also had many close wins against mediocre teams. I think we will be fine, but I could see them moving up to 10 or 11 if they don't get the 4 seed over Boise.

If SMU wins and Arizona State jumps Boise they get the bye. Boise would then take Arizona's current spot but up a spot or two. It would only impact Bama and maybe Indiana. Should not impact Tennessee. Boise wasn't impressive enough to jump Tennessee.

The way I took your original post was if Clemson wins they automatically get a bye. That why I posted that. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but the way it was worded I took it as Clemson gets a bye with a win.
