Will 2018 Vol season end soon enough?

With 8 games left, there's plenty of time left for this team to embarrass the Tennessre fans and themselves over and over again.

You know it's bad when you just want the pain of watching this underachieving bunch of players to be over.

I'm sure there those that want to watch this team and follow this season to fruition, but it's going to be difficult to watch to say the least.

I'm praying for a miracle, but not holding my breath.

I knew it would be a difficult season, but didn't imagine it would be this bad. I was pretty hyped for the season even though I anticipated some rough going.

Now, all the enthusiam has disappeared and only empathy remains for this season.

Again praying for a miracle, just not expecting one.

I guess, it's just hard to see how Butch destroyed the culture so throughout, but something is definitely amiss on the hill

I would say the next four weeks will be to see if we can play any type of football game without errors, mental mistakes, and missed assignments. Even if all that happens we still lose just because of far better talent. Team isn't getting any better and if that is still true after these four games well at least basketball season will be here.

Honestly there wasn't a culture of anything before Butch. We're too many bad hires in now. These players know nothing but losing and getting embarrassed on national TV. I think Butch lucked into Josh Dobbs or he'd been gone in 3 years. He should of did everything he could to keep his staff he brought from Cincy here and he didn't. The clowns he hired after that got his job ultimately.

I don’t want the season to be over. I want to watch this team improve and see some young guys develop. I wait all year for football season. As bad as Saturday was, I’m not ready for it to end yet. I still have confidence in this staff. Fire away. Lol.

Ruin someone's year if they can. Got a lot of cleanup on isle 4 for that to happen. It is football and sometimes ODU happens.

While my confidence in the staff may not he as high as yours, my hope for them is pretty high. So like you im watching for improvement and praying that I get to see it.

No matter how bad it gets I’ll tune in every Saturday. And I’ll probably think we’ll win each game by Friday (except Bama, that ain’t happening).

Tennessee football is just one big ugly baby. You wait 9 months for that thing to cook, and it comes out ugly as sin.

Saturday could have gone any worse. It was ugly. 6 turnovers and a safety. At halftime we were hanging in the concession area and my brother in law said he wasn’t in a rush to get back to the game afraid we would fumble the kickoff. I laughed when it really happened.

I had no vision of this team being world beaters from the start but I did want to see a team that came out of the gate cleanly executing plays and being physical and fighting from start to finish. Getting out talented by the great teams but just get better as the season goes, either play really close with or even slip up and beat a team we have no business playing with. THAT is the hallmark of a great coach/staff in year one.

Starting slow and just going through the motions, dumb mistakes and penalties. No physicality or fire in 95% of the team. No composure at all and look to their leader, he is kicking dry erase boards and getting dumb penalties himself.

Long way to go from top to bottom and I hope the season lasts long enough to see them all improve.
