Also I dont think were playing North Texas anymore, it was switched to Montana IIRC, I could be wrong.

Correct. I fixed the schedule to be up-to-date. I had an older schedule from the Memphis news from late August/early September. I think 7 wins, 2 close games in SC and UGA, and 3 tough games in UF, LSU, Bama. That is from simply looking at the teams on paper and judging UT's potential. Games can go any way in the SEC. I like our chances next year against SC because we'll be at home and we are decent against the run. Our DL will be a year older, and we will hopefully have some freshmen that can chip in. Comments could go on and on, but I think next year will be much better.

Will be worse. I've said all along we'd get 5 wins at best this season and next season will be tougher.

Don't worry though, in two years you'll see the clouds start to move out and the sun shine again.

2011 Tennessee Volunteers Football Schedule - UT. I've a feeling our d-line is going to be a lot better next year, we are returning some players on the d-line that will contribute, more than likely getting Couch, and our schedule is easier, especially the first few games of the season. We will win at least 7 games next year and probably win 8. Arkansas loses Mallet, we get LSU, UGA, USC at home.
Looking at that schedule makes me feel alot better bout next year except for the fact that we gota play alabama and florida away

Tennessee will be a better team next year, unfortunately South Carolina and Florida will see even more improvement in their own teams. We are lucky South Carolina has a couple losses this year, if that program takes off, our hill will be that much tougher to climb.

Cincy will be closer than most expect, and I think we pull a nail biter against UGA. 7-5 is probably reasonable. Anybody else think we beat LSU next year?

What say you -- will next year be better or worse in the W/L column?

From a won - lost standpoint, not a lot better. still too youthful and inexperienced at too many spots.

Even with are youth, still under talented for this league. My point of reference is size in DL and LBs. Far too small and slow at those positions. that is not changing between now and 2011.
