Previews have peaked my interest. I'm a sports, natgeo, curb, workaholics type of show watcher. Looks like I may give this a shot.

FWIW, someone else brought it up in this thread, I'm downloading the Australian seasons right now. Will watch a couple episodes later and report back.

So I've watched the first three episodes of the Aussie version. It's almost the exact same story and bits/jokes as the American; in many instances they're word-for-word. Examples: "Gotta cough to get off," stealing the weed and Wilfred planting the wallet, s**t particles bit, etc. But the guy is actually with the girl and they somewhat live together. Overall, it's a bit more dry and unornamented with the kind of distinctive humor-types that we are used to in this day. I was having a hard time getting into it since it was seemingly stale, but after this third episode, I've gotten accustomed to it and I like it. I'm not saying she's a 10, but I find the girl in this series attractive. Others may not.

Ok, I've watched the whole first season and 3/4 of the second. The Aussie version is just as good, if not better than the American. It's a slightly different style and feel, but the humor is funnier, the drama is more substantial, and it's vulgar. I really like the FX series too, and I've give both versions a 9/10. I recommend watching the Aussie version.

2nd season airs on FX June 28. In the meantime, I recommend the Australian version. Its like Chris4vols described, and I like it alot

Yeah, after meditating on it a bit, I still recommend this Aussie version. I'm really excited about the new FX season, but the Aussie series is still tops.

same, except tonights which I will stream in the next few days. I like it so far, it hasn't dropped off alot like I thought it had the chance of doing. What are your reactions to the season as a whole so far??
