Derek dooley used a wildcat formation last year with tech. And with potentially a Freshman QB coming in next year, (even if he doesnt play, Stephens is wont exactly be passing 35 times a game) how ridiculously talented would a Bryce brown, david Oku wildcat be?

OR

In order to give BB a blow, do a Tauren Poole in shotgun with Oku wildcat formation.

This could be easy for a young O line to work with, these quick RBs could make one quick move to get through that initial D line burst. It would be a beast of an offensive set, while giving poole some well deserved carries.
Could be an awesome RB group next year. The three headed monster.

Some people do not like the wildcat but i am a fan. I would not mind seeing OKu getting to run it.

They ran it with G. Jones and he is fast (but not that fast). Wouldnt mind seeing a track star like Justin Hunter get a couple of shots at it.

I remember seeing that, he had his moments, but nothing consistent.

I think a guy lower to the ground with some shiftyness and speed. Thats why I reccomended our very good RBs

Ingram and Richardson were outstanding at it, and they were very elusive and shifty, along with great speed. Hunter may be best for an option, not a between the tackles wildcat like the one dooley used and the one bama used.
good idea though. Still may happen.

Yeah G. Jones is ok, if Cut would have let him keep running it against LSU in SEC championship, we would have won...

3x a game running wildcat is not enough if you are going to run it... U have to run it 8-10 for it to be effective...

If we see more wildcat all I ask is to give it a chance to work properly. The ball carrier must attempt to pass or at least act like he is going to pass.

In the bigger games I just don't remember G gun ever having the slightest hint of a pass threat. I may be totally forgetting some awesome touchdown but I just remember being frustrated because everyone in the stadium knew he was running.

I would love to see this. The problem we've had running this before is that we'd call it and see some success from it, and then never call it again the whole game! With the stable or RB's we have there is no reason for us not to run it! Hunter could run it also. Hopefully, Dooley will use this!

I miss the wild berry. It worked the one game we used it. Only if...

Don't understand why all of you are wanting the "speedsters" to run it. If you look at those who effectively do it, you have teams like Alabama (when they do it) in college and Miami in the pros.

Who runs it for them?

Alabama: Ingram
Miami: Ronnie Brown

You need a combination of speed, vision, and ability to break tackles.

Having Bryce Brown and one of the other running backs in the backfield running this formation would be lethal. Bryce Brown having the option to run it himself or hand it to one of Poole/Williams/Oku is a scary thought.
