I see a lot of people on here talking about changes to coaches and no one has brought up the fact Wilcox could leave for a better job. If you want a perfect storm for 2012 VOL Fan meltdown then that's a start. TN is hardly a "good" job right now.

:yes: Wilcox is a good DC in my oppenion :salute:

my thoughts exactly. If the good coaches we have start bailing out because of this, the sh** will really hit the fan.

Well, from a survey of the roster + current recruiting class, the coaches will have a lot to work with next year. My concern is with the HC and offensive staff.

Dooley routinely criticizes his players and I think that has stirred a lot of dissent against him on this team. Same thing Singletary did with the 49ers. Coaches who lose the respect of their players have little chance to succeed.

That is why I think a coach like Gary Patterson would get more out of the current talent than Dooley would, next year...turnover or not.

Wilcox is a good D cord in my opinion the D held Kentucky to 10 points... if the offensive had showed up we would have won by 30 points and everyone would be praising the D for their GREAT performance
