Wikipedia fires Tennessee OC Mike DeBord

No it simply has an edit button. Evidently the author used it and then turned it into a story. Journalism at its finest

To all you HS and college students, this is exactly why Wikipedia cannot be used as a trusted source of information. Anybody can edit Wikipedia.

Perhaps another way to interpret this is that Wiki is ahead of everyone else in accurately describing what should and will happen with Debord.

I just found it funny hence the LOL. I also find all the Debord hate funny, when anyone with common sense knows the offense is Butch's. It isn't going to change as long as Butch remains the HC, regardless who the OC is.

I would still like to find out for sure -- so cut him loose

Wikipedia gets some pretty funny edits sometimes. Like this one for Arkansas 2012 interim coach John L Smith (who left Weber State that year to do so):

Following his third year at Arkansas, Smith left to lead his fifth Division I program at his alma mater, Weber State, an FCS program in the Big Sky Conference. Smith succeeded Ron McBride, who retired after seven seasons with the Wildcats. Smith coached the Wildcats through spring drills in 2012. Smith snuck off during spring training to replace Petrino at Arkansas. Smith gave something back to Weber State. It's called a kick to the groin.

However, if you just use some of the citations at the bottom of the specific Wikipedia pages as your sources instead of citing actual Wikipedia, then you are in good shape. Worked every time. :good!:

Wikipedia also is saying that Bruce Pearl has been rehired as the University of Tennessee head coach.
