You parents of preschoolers will feel the same way I do, I am sure...Greg is quitting the Wiggles for a "mystery illness". I have grown to have a strange fondness for the supergroup. We saw them in concert and they were very entertaining, even for the parents. I have to admit I did "doctor" the AP press release and post it in a Bama forum...stating he was quitting to become the next football coach at the University of Alabama.:)

After a couple of years of having these guys forced on me by my 4 year old . . . I think they are all probably pretty normal. It ain't easy making a career out of entertaining 2-5 year olds when you're not a puppet, cartoon or purple dinosaur.

I doubt it. I sense a cocaine-laced episode of Behind The Music: The Wiggles coming to VH1 very soon.

Unless Greg the Wiggle has slipped into a life of softcore porn, CBC is not going to have a link.

He has a heart condition.

This has turned out to be very bad news for me. My son who is about to be two loves the Wiggles. The night before this story broke my wife and I got on ebay looking for some talking wiggles dolls that are discontinued. We won two that night for an average off $28 a piece (which seemed pretty darned ridiculous at the time to me, but I love my boy). One of the one's that we won was Greg. We have the intention of getting all four Wiggles plus Capt. Feathersword. After this story hit, the price of these dolls is averaging $50 or more a piece. Now we are three dolls away from having all the ones we want to give my son and the prices are crazy, and it is not even for the guy that is leaving!! I wish my wife had had the bright idea to buy these things a week earlier...
