Are we aware of why it seems (is) that nothing is happening? Anyone have an actual clue as to the story behind the scenes?

I realize Im asking this in an open forum with a bunch of ticked off drunk folks, but still... why are we not seeing any action? Why isn't ESPN reporting rumors out of Tennessee? This can't really be our continued reality, can it?

I want to believe something big is in the works and this is all part of some genius plan.


....but this is UT athletics. I’m afraid it is just incompetence.

Curry likes to play things close. There's not a lot of leaked information from inside the AD like you've seen at UF today. He's not just sitting idle. Butch will not be the coach next year.

I think it's a good thing. I'm hoping Currie is one hell of an AD and knows how it works. Has superman lined up and going to announce at the right time.

As for jones, I think it's Monday morning.

I can guarantee you this: Sexton is about to bank some more Haslam money!!!

Why don't we know anything? Because we have a tight ship in the AD office for once, with employees who know to keep their mouths shut.

In short, they're the kind of people you would hire to work for you and it's driving you crazy.

I'd like to hope that's true. Historically, Chris Low or someone like that gives us a little something. I've not heard much from him on this, or anyone for that matter. Most everything is all crapola by someone's best buddy's uncle who knows a player's cousin...

Probably because no one reputable has said anything to any ESPN reporter. They have sources they trust but UT has been tight lipped on everything, for all we know Currie may not have any plans to fire anyone. Or the Haslams could be so infatuated with Butch they have handcuffed Currie.

We have a winner. Why would the athletic dept. leak out info to the masses? That's just stupid.

Most of the knee-jerkers can't seem to grasp the long-term effects of making a football hire. You would think they would get after the last decade...

Player still playing hard
Can't interview a coach face to face until Dec.
No real reason to fire him now.
Fulmer don't want it happening in season like happened to him.

We will be really good next year. Lot of underclass men
